The Crafty Moa Bar is a restful place to sit by the fire and enjoy a glass of wine from leading New Zealand Winemakers, or quench your thirst with a Moa Craft Beer, international beer or cider by the bottle.
The Crafty Moa Menu includes something for all appetites’, pub snacks, weekend lunch, evening dining and a ‘Crafty Kids’ children’s menu. Using the freshest locally sourced ingredients and New Zealand’s finest high country lamb, no appetite will go unrewarded at the Crafty Moa.
Specialties include our Coast to Coast Goat Burger, Tender Canterbury beef, NZ raised Beef Ribeye, melt in your mouth delicious. On tap are a range of Moa craft beers from Marlborough along with international beer and cider brands. Beers can also be purchased by the bottle and include New Zealand craft, domestic and international brands.

Bookings are recommended at the Crafty Moa and visitors may enjoy their meals by the roaring fire on a crisp winter’s day, or if staying the night take their food to their rooms.

Well... we rated our stay as outstanding in every aspect and the meal and service was second to none on our South Island circuit. Wish we could have stayed longer.The view down-valley was superb and made even more absorbing by an excellent display of "Dogandstockmanship" by your neighboring runholder!!..
