Terms and Conditions for The Bealey Hotel, Arthurs Pass
Effective Date: 1st January 2026
- Introduction Welcome to Bealey Hotel. By making a reservation and staying at our hotel, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- Reservations
- All reservations must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
- A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation.
- Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-in time is from 3pm daily.
- Check-out time is 10am. Late check-out may be available upon request but will incur additional fees.
- Payment
- Full payment for your stay is required as confirmation and is due upon making your reservation unless otherwise specified during the booking process.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, cash & payment by payment link via email.
- Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the check-in date to avoid a cancellation fee.
- After this period, no refund will be offered.
- Cooking Facilities
- There is no cooking allowed in the rooms and no cooking facilities. Any damage to kettles or fridges will be charged back to me for replacement. Kettles/Jugs are for water use only.
- There is a full restaurant / bar onsite, no guests own food is to be consumed in the restaurant or garden
- Food and drinks from the menu is available to purchase to be taken to the rooms and be eaten there, room service is not available.
- Guest Conduct
- Guests are expected to behave respectfully and peacefully during their stay.
- Noise disturbances and unlawful activities are not permitted and may lead to eviction without refund. Parties are not allowed in the rooms
- If any actions of guests or visitors require emergency services, any charge for such action will fall due to the guest and will be paid for in full, prior to departure
- Smoking and Pets
- Smoking or vaping is not allowed in any of the hotel rooms or lodge indoor areas
- Pets are not allowed in the hotel rooms.
- Liability
- Bealey Hotel is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property during your stay.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay. Any items of hotel property missing from the room at checkout will be charged to the credit card provided for security.
- Any damage should be reported to reception at the earliest convenience, and any charges for wilful damage made by any booking guests or visitors will be charged to the credit card provided for security.

- Changes to Terms and Conditions

- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
